WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Promet is seeking an experienced SEO Strategist and Analyst (SEO-SA) to join our team on a contract basis.  The position is remote and available to USA applicants (10-20 hours per week). 

The SEO-SA will play a pivotal role in driving the organic growth of Promet Source and its clients through a comprehensive approach to search engine optimization. This role involves conducting in-depth research, developing and optimizing content, addressing technical SEO issues, and providing ongoing support to ensure the continuous improvement of our digital presence. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of SEO best practices, and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.

Reports to the Director of Marketing of Promet Source US office. 

ABOUT THE JOB

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive research to inform SEO strategies, including competitor analysis, audience insights, and trend identification.
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Perform keyword research and optimize existing content.
  • Formulate new topics that address identified gaps and opportunities.
  • Identify and recommend solutions for technical issues that may affect indexing, mobile performance, and site speed.
  • Audit and provide recommendations for Google Business Profile.
  • Provide additional SEO services as needed, based on project developments and identified opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in developing and executing SEO strategies, including technical, on-page, and off-page optimization.
  • Proven track record of improving organic search performance through targeted SEO initiatives.
  • Experience with industry-standard SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SE Ranking, and other tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Experience in conducting keyword research and optimizing content for search engines.
  • Ability to develop content strategies that align with SEO goals and drive organic traffic.
  • Experience in identifying and resolving technical issues that impact search engine indexing and ranking.
  • Experience in conducting competitor analysis, audience research, and trend analysis to inform SEO strategies.
  • Experience in providing ongoing SEO support, and adapting strategies based on project developments and emerging opportunities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent time and organizational management abilities.
  • Collaborative team player with creative problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort learning and mastering new technologies and strategies.
