Google Appliances Setup and Media Migration Contractor

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented contractor to assist with setting up Google appliances, transferring content from the Space & Rocket Center drives to Google appliances, and packaging the appliances for return shipment to Google. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with hands-on tasks and able to follow detailed instructions and located in the Huntsville, AL area.

The hourly rate is $18-25USD per hour and there are no benefits with this contract role. We anticipate there will be approximately 16-40 hours of work to be done in 1-2 weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Set up Google appliances and prepare them for content transfer.
• Copy and paste content from the Space & Rocket Center drives to the Google appliances.
• Package the appliances carefully and ship them back to Google.
• Collaborate with the project manager and interface with clients on-site as needed.

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience with Google appliances and large-scale media migrations is a plus but not required.

Qualifications:

• Attention to detail and ability to follow specific guidelines.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with both internal team members and clients.
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve when necessary.
• Local to Huntsville, AL
• Reliable transportation to and from the facility
